Why did Kit Luce go into a career in education? It’s simple. She loves to be engaged and connected with others who love to learn and explore. That includes students and educators throughout the community.
Kit is a K-12 Mathematics Instructional Resource Teacher with the Program and Innovation Team. She is able to interact with many different schools, students and teachers and inquire about math and problem solving. Whatever the current need is, from technology to growth mindset to assessment, Kit has it covered—and that’s just a typical day!
She enjoys learning new strategies and techniques every day on the job, and hopes to impact students and educators by developing a strong sense of their own growth and desire to learn.
For fun on weekends, Kit enjoys talking about fractions, reading, and swimming. While living in Barrie, she spends time with her spouse, four children and two adorable golden retrievers.
