10 things to do this weekend in and around Simcoe County

With the May long weekend approaching, it’s time for us to go out and enjoy the beginning of the summer months. Celebrate the unofficial kickoff of summer in Ontario by going outside, by the water or under the stars with family and friends. Luckily, in the Simcoe County area there are a variety of activities you can participate in this weekend.

Celebrate with a bang!

All weekend, the Barrie Kinsman are selling fireworks in the Sears Barrie parking lot from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. All proceeds from sales go back to the community for various charities around the area.

Watch a flick under the stars

Celebrate all weekend long at Blue Mountain

All weekend Blue Mountain Village is hosting a May long weekend celebration.
